Berkley River Trip - Don and Eldon

Every year the volunteer Search and Rescue boats take a trip to "practice" their skills. (Sounds like just a bunch of guys going fishing to me!) Don Major asked if Eldon wanted to come this year...what do you think the answer was?

They put in at Wyndham, which is on the Cambridge Gulf, and from there go out to the ocean. Then they head around the coast to the Berkley River. Berkley River is unlike any river you've seen...high cliffs on both sides and very deep. Eldon flies over it when they do the works tour to spot dolphins and crocodiles.

They had a great weekend and caught lots of fish (so much we can't fit it all in our freezer) and had only one run-in with a crocodile trying to steal their crab pots. :)
Eldon's 1.3 metre mulloway...they each got one.
The waterfall where they had a "shower"
